Grand Duc
Emblematic Tiny House with an unequalled « Binocles » design.
Similar to the Eagle-owl after which it was named, Grand-Duc overlooks us with its vertical silhouette. Like the bird of the same name, often nesting on top of the hills, it relishes in views overhanging the world and wanders through it with agility and discretion, in spite of an imposing size.
Its two high-up symmetrical eyes, on each facade, inhabit the space. They offer a distant and bright vision of the surroundings, for whoever wants to gaze through them. Harmonious and warm, those eyes let the light shine into two independent bedrooms. The light passing through also gives us an unparalleled sense of space.
At night, its round eyes make us dream, carrying us far away to travel to distant horizons. Its portholes evoke the world under the sea. They resemble planets, capturing a nocturnal ambience similar to a night under the stars.
Grand-Duc is a family-sized Tiny Binocles for 4 to 6 people.
This small house is fully equipped to unsure the necessary comfort to inhabit it all year round.
At the back is fitted a large bathroom, consisting of a shower, a sink, lavatories and plenty of storage spaces.
At the centre stands a large kitchen, fully equipped with multiple storage cabinets under a high ceiling.
At the front, a living area with a large table accommodating up to six guests for meals. Under the seats are large storage compartments. This living area can be transformed into a large double bed.
Two permanent ladders give access to the upper floor and its two independent bedrooms. Each one of the bedrooms is equipped with a large double bed and a large storage space. Access hatches, at the top of the ladders, allows one to isolate from the rest of the cabin.
Grand-Duc is fitted on a 6 meters long trailer but offers a 6.6 meter long living space. Cosy and spacious, Grand-Duc is a fine example of the « Binocles » design. It matches strict specifications while staying 100% versatile.
The main goal of the Grand-Duc is to provide a family sized Tiny House, custom made, tailored to all your projects and to every budget. If its appearance stands out, Grand-Duc is constructed, like all our Binocles, through an eco-friendly, sustainable and hand-made process.
