Tiny Binocles

1

Tiny Binocles are small mobile houses, also known as « Tiny Houses », with a unique « Binocles » design.
Through their wide eyes, the Binocles offer a different vision, open to the world, from an interior suitable for every project.

In Guidel (Brittany), the Tiny Binocles workshop deploys all its expertise and creativity for those unconventional small movable houses to arise in the landscape.

Ambroise Humeau is the creator and designer of the Tiny Binocles. Passionate about carpentry and fond of sailing and the sea world, he relies on his state-of-the-art training in carpentry and wooden construction at Les Companions du Tour de France, as well as 20 years of experience in his domaine. All those elements combined have allowed him to come up with the concept of the Tiny Binocles and to offer today creative, sleek, conceptualised and ambitious.

Just like boats, the Binocles are mobile, ready to travel, always up to meet with new environments and drop anchor in different places. Their wide open eyes, like portholes, give to those inhabiting them an unparalleled panorama of the world. They enable equally to enjoy the day light as well as feeling you are spending the night under the stars.

Regardless of the design you choose, Tiny Binocles are all 100% modular. Conceived and designed to be spacious and bright inside, they stand out in the landscape with their unmatched « Binocles » appearance outside.

05

To dwell in a Binocles enables to live a unique experience, while being able to adapt it to one’s own life project. As in a boat, the relationship between outside and inside is constant.

The Binocles offer a comfortable interior, optimised and neat. The Binocles’ wide eyes, oeil-de-boeuf windows, see the world with an open outlook and let the light through. Their symmetry allows as well a natural ventilation from one side to the other.

The outside world surrounds the Binocles. Bearing names of different owls, the Binocles find a place in their environment. Their eyes, scrutinising their surroundings, are visible days and nights.

At Tiny Binocles, we work for a new of inhabiting the world, by producing our Tiny Houses, from our workshop in Brittany, in a respectful approach to the environment in mind.

Compact and spacious, Tiny Houses have been designed for either private or professional audience. They can act as a main house, a secondary home, a studio, a guest room, an independent room, an office, a workshop and any other project.

Those tiny houses on wheels are an invitation for more minimalist and cost-efficient life style, closer to nature. To live in one of our Binocles, is to optimise your interior space while insuring a minimum environmental impact. Every Tiny Bincoles is conceived to be settled on serviced plots, but can as well, upon request, become fully energy self-sufficient.

The Binocles’ spirit is to provide a well-thought-out construction, of quality and bespoke. Each Binocles is made mainly of 100% recyclable and sustainable materials (organically sourced isolation, use of hard oil and other natural products). We make sure that the wood we use come from sustainably managed forest. Tiny Binocles works mostly with local suppliers, this way limiting its environmental foot-print.
